Podcast inspiration: Indie101 Podcast with Seth Eubanks

My friend Seth Eubanks released the first episode of his Indie101 Podcast which I listened to on my walk home last night. I’m always eager to hear what other musicians have to say about the craft and the hustling that’s involved in writing songs and playing gigs. It’s the main reason I’m starting Grrl on Grrl.

In the first episode, Seth chats with Janelle Obert from Los Angeles band No Girlfriends. They touch upon band dynamics, worrying about remembering the lyrics on stage, and other issues–some that made me go, “oh yeah, that’s totally me too!” and others that helped me understand a little bit more about the process.

Seth’s always a great person to hear talk, and I’m excited that he’s expanded his Instagram “indie101 advice” into a podcast.

Give episode 1 of Indie101 Podcast a listen below, and I recommend staying tuned for upcoming episodes!

And hours must pass, ere morning break;
From troubled dreams, or slumbers deep,
That music kindly bids us wake:
It calls us, with an angel’s voice,
To wake, and worship, and rejoice…
